Anne of Cleves was the fourth wife of Henry VIII. They were married in 1540 after the death of Jane Seymour, Henry’s third wife. While Henry was looking at a portrait of a beautiful lady. He said that he wanted to marry her without meeting her yet. So Anne sailed from Cleves going to England. But when she arrived, Henry did not like the way she looks. Henry said that she was ugly and different from the lady in the portrait even that is her portrait. They were separated in 1540 the same year they were married. Henry also married his fifth wife the same year.
