Catherine Parr was the sixth and last wife of Henry VIII. They were married in 1543. Henry said that she was a better wife for him than Kathryn. She was actually a nurse. Henry, now is fat. Catherine took care of him. She was queen until his death in 1547, 9 or 10 years after Jane, his third wife. After his death, she married Thomas Seymour, a brother of Henry’s third wife, Jane Seymour. In 1548, Catherine gave birth to her first child, Mary. But sadly, she passed away a few days after Mary’s birth. Anne of Cleves, Henry’s fourth wife outlived her by 8 years.
